As the 3 remaining Chaos Gods become more active, it becomes more and more difficult for Norscan leaders to remain independent between the Gods’ struggles, rather than kneeling before one god alone.

Aside from the great Norscan collectives under Throgg and Wulfrik, only one Norscan tribe still remains fiercely independent from any single God, this tribe being Varg which is ruled over by the Charioteer Chieftain Surtha Ek. It was only last week that a sexually-frustrated Warrior of Slaanesh stepped into his longhouse demanding an orgy but without Slaanesh to reward such endeavours, the warrior quickly broke down and ran away meaning Surtha didn’t even need to fight him.

However, today’s challenger may not be so easy to thwart. Valnir the Reaper, Champion of Nurgle, barged into the camp demanding that Surtha Ek swear loyalty to Papa Nurgle once and for all. Of course, Surtha won’t join any god without testing their champion first. Can Surtha atop his chariot defeat defeat Valnir and stay independent or will he be forced into service under the God of Decay?

Angry React – Valnir uses his flail to smash Surtha off of his chariot. However, he swung too hard and instantly shattered the Norscan’s skull meaning he can no longer join Nurgle, not in his original form of course. But who knows? Nurgle can always benefit from additional flesh to mutate…

Sad React – Valnir dismounts Surtha from his chariot before forcing him to repent before the true god. Henceforth, Surtha Ek and his chariot-riding forces will serve under the banner of Nurgle. The marauders who are deemed too weak shall find themselves mutated into Nurglite beasts instead.

Laugh React – Valnir found himself unable to immobilise Surtha in a fight. Realising this could react in serious injury on his side, Valnir decided to concede defeat and return to Nurgle once more. From there Nurgle will corrupt Valnir’s flesh even further as punishment before sending a Daemon Prince of Nurgle after Surtha instead.

Wow React – Surtha rode circles around Valnir. Valnir attempted to swipe at Surtha with his flail but continually missed only to be repeatedly slashed at by the chariot’s wheel blades. Finally after having his lower legs fully chopped off by the chariot, Surtha stepped off his chariot and looked down at the crawling Nurgle lord with a smirk before proceeding to stab him through the back with a javelin.
