As the Orcs are busy up North fighting the Empire, another great empire, Cathay, has decided to add their lot to the conflict of ages. The Silk Road which provides trade access to wealthy states like Araby has long been out of reach from Cathayan traders who would be raided by Greenskin incursions.

Consequently, the Dragon Emperor has charged Yin Tuan, former Captain of a Great War Junk now turned Admiral of the Cathayan fleet at large and keen martial arts practitioner, to sail to the Southlands, vanquish any blockading forces and establish trading routes on the road.

However, as Yin’s flagship neared the Southland’s coast they were suddenly met by crackling bolts of green warpfire piercing their sales. Yin ran over to the starboard bow and pulled out his spyglass to see what he was being shot by. 10 Warp Lightning Cannons were lined up on a ridge, backed up by another 5 Plagueclaw Catapults, as they all fired upon his ship. His ship was out in the open and hopelessly outgunned in terms of raw artillery firepower.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shot a whole straight through the hull of the ship, causing water to start filling in. Running out of time in which to come up with a plan, Yin commanded his first mate to prepare the rowing boats while he ran to the back of the ship and signalled a smoke signal for the remainder of the fleet to pull back out of the range of the Skaven cannons and circle round to offer his crew covering fire.

Yin Tuan boarded a lifeboat and started rowing to shore amidst his crew. The cannons continued to fire on these rowing crews, sinking 4 out of 9 boats before they reached the beach.

However, landing on the beach made Yin Tuan’s crew no less in danger as he saw a massive horde of Clanrats and Stormvermin heading for his crew. Among them was Queek Headtaker, infamous Warlord of Clan Mors, who was heading straight for Yin Tuan, hoping to add his first Cathayan head to his corpse rack.

Wow React – Yin Tuan out-reflexes the Headtaker, dodging his gnarly blade and pick as he delivered a series of well timed blows to the rat, breaking one of its arms, poking his fingers in its eyes, and finally stabbing it through the neckline, down past the armour into the chest.

Laugh React – Yin Tuan defeats Queek in martial combat, Queek flees in cowardice leaving his rats to fight for themselves.

Sad React – Queek Headtaker tears at the barely armoured Cathayan admiral, hacking his pick into his shoulder and clashing his blade against the admiral’s blade repeatedly, forcing him to drop his weapon. However, just before Queek is able to kill the admiral he instead is forced to flee. The Cathayan fleet has circled round out of the Skaven artillery’s arc of fire and is now mercilessly blasting the beach, providing Yin Tuan and his crew with enough covering fire to allow him to run along the beach to where the ships are positioned.

Angry React – Queek is unimpressed by the Cathayan martial arts, simply flinging himself on top of the admiral and pushing him to the ground as he got his blade caught in the serrated edges of Queek’s sword. Queek pulled out his pick and lodged it through Yin’s shoulder, fixing him to the ground. As Yin Tuan tried to shake himself loose from the pick, tearing his wound further open in the process, Queek jumped up and tore Yin’s throat out with his teeth.
